Spring  is quite wonderful with the arrival of the many varieties of bird life and spring flowers. Salmon Fishing on the R. Isla starts from 15th Jan - 15th Oct.Trout fishing from 15th March - 5th Oct Roe deer stalking (Bucks) from 1st April - 20th Oct, with Golf, Hill walking Pony-trekking and skiing all available.
Summer brings the glorious twelth with grouse, and soon after, walked up game shooting. Driven Partridge starts on the 1st September and Duck flighting on our own ponds, together with the arrival of Wild Geese in their thousands. Red deer stalking starts at Tarvie from 12th Sept - 20th Oct.
Autumn  with it's glorious colours, perhaps the best time of the year to enjoy this beautiful area, with Falconry, Fishing and Rough Shooting all available during the year for visitors booking our country holiday cottages, with the Game Fair at Perth an added bonus.

Winter  with sunny, bright, frosty days of the Angus Glens are ideal for some of the best pheasant and mixed game shooting in Scotland, with our famous Castle Pheasant drives at their best. With frozen lochs hosting curling matches, Ice climbing and hill walking, skiing and snow boarding, there will be something for everyone to enjoy at this seasonal time of year.
